The Play Cafe was born from our passion for creating a space where families can enjoy delicious food, fun play, and opportunities to connect, learn, and grow together. Creating this guide felt like a natural next step for us—a way to share our love for this island and our commitment to helping families create meaningful experiences.

Activities for Children
Bumi Kecil
A Reggio Emilia-inspired kindergarten offering a bilingual curriculum inspired by the core values of learning, play, nature, and community. Minimum enrollment: 1 month.
Escape Room
Work together to complete a mission by finding hidden clues and solving tricky puzzles. It’s all about teamwork and creativity to ‘escape’! A perfect real-life adventure for families!
Flowers & Fire
Weekly yoga classes for kids! Check out their Instagram for more details.
Gili Shark Conservation
Weekly beach and island clean-ups on Thursdays at 4 PM, in collaboration with NGO Gili Matra Bersama and Gili Cares. Check their Instagram for the starting location.
Oceans5 Dive Resort
Weekly beach clean- up on Friday’s at 5 PM.
The Play Cafe
Indoor and outdoor playgrounds, childcare assistant on site, weekly activities, coworking space for parents. Open every day except Fridays.

Pituq Café
Kids menu with even a dish for the babies! Kids corner with drawing supplies, puzzles and lots of toys for the beach too, while parents enjoy the view.
Poke Bowl
Fresh, healthy and kids friendly meals. Gluten free and vegan options available. You also can build your own bowl!
The Play Cafe
Healthy, delicious food available in both adult and children’s sizes. Childcare assistants on- site to ensure you can enjoy your meal while your kids have a fantastic time!

Villa Nangka
Beautiful rashguards in various designs, available for kids aged 2 to 12. Made from ultra-soft, quick-drying polyamide fabric with 4-way stretch and OEKO-TEX certification.
